Registering interest for LinkTown Residences (Hougang Central Residences) is the first step for most buyers, but it is often confused with the steps that follow. This page explains the difference between registering, submitting an EOI, the ballot and booking day, and what happens to your details once you register.
Four steps that are easy to mix up
1. Registering interest (open now)
You leave your name and contact details so you are told when the showflat preview opens, when the price list and floor plans are released, and when the EOI window starts. It is free, it involves no payment and it does not commit you to buy.
2. Expression of Interest (not open yet)
Closer to launch, the developers usually open an Expression of Interest (EOI) window. An EOI tells the developer which unit types you want, and is often submitted with a cheque or cashier’s order. The amount is set by the developer. The EOI is not a purchase either, but it is what puts you in line for booking day.
3. The ballot
For popular launches, a ballot among EOI submissions decides the order in which buyers get to choose units. A better ballot number means more choice of stacks and floors. Whether LinkTown Residences uses a ballot, and how it is run, has not been announced.
4. Booking day
On booking day you choose from the units still available when your turn comes. When you pay the 5% booking fee, the developer issues the Option to Purchase (OTP). The rest of the payment then follows the payment schedule in your sales documents.

- The showflat address and preview slots as soon as they are released, with appointment booking.
- The indicative price range and price list once published.
- Final floor plans and the site plan, to replace the indicative plans on the floor plans page.
- A link to the current e-brochure, which is indicative until the developers release their own.
- EOI instructions and booking day details when announced.
- Answers to your questions about budget, stamp duty and loans. For rules, always verify with IRAS, MAS and your bank.
Before the EOI opens, speak to your bank about an in-principle approval. Knowing your loan limit under TDSR helps you decide which unit types to put on your EOI.
When to register
There is no advantage in registering on a particular day, and no deadline yet. What matters is being on the list before the preview opens, so you hear about showflat slots and the EOI window in time to act. For Hougang Central Residences, the launch is expected in early 2027, so registering now simply means you will not miss the first announcements.
Who you are registering with
This site is run by Celest, a licensed salesperson (CEA Reg. No. R068464H) with Huttons Asia Pte Ltd (Agency Licence L3008899K). It is not the developer’s website. Registering here means Celest will contact you with Hougang Central Residences updates and help you through the preview and booking process. There is no fee to buyers for registering.
