LinkTown Residences FAQ: Hougang Central Residences Questions Answered
Straight answers to the questions buyers ask most about LinkTown Residences, from the showflat and launch date to price, tenure and schools.
LinkTown Residences (Hougang Central Residences) is one of the most anticipated new launches in the north-east, and most of the questions we receive are the same handful: where the showflat is, when the launch is, how much it will cost and whether it is an EC. The answers below cover those and more, based only on what has been reported or announced so far.
Many details are still to come. The developers have not yet released the price list, final floor plans, unit mix, facilities, showflat location or completion date. Where something is not known, we say so rather than guess, and we update this page as information is published.

Frequently asked questions
Where is the LinkTown Residences showflat, and when does it open?
The showflat (some buyers call it the showroom) location, opening hours and preview dates have not been announced. Register on this site and we will send the details once the developers release them.
When is the LinkTown Residences launch date?
The sales launch is expected in early 2027. UOL’s August 2026 results guide a 2H 2027 launch. No firm date has been announced.
What is the Hougang Central Residences price?
No prices have been released. Analysts expect an average of around S$2,500–2,600 psf. That is an estimate, not an offer; the price list will come at or shortly before launch.
Are the floor plans available?
Not yet. This site shows indicative layouts from the developers’ recent project Parktown Residence, from a 506 sq ft 1 bedroom + study to a 1,679 sq ft 5 bedroom. LinkTown’s final plans will differ.
How many units does LinkTown Residences have?
About 830 homes were reported at the land award (some sources say up to about 835), and UOL describes the project as more than 800 residential units. The unit mix has not been announced.
What is the tenure?
99-year leasehold. The site was sold under the Government Land Sales programme.
Is LinkTown Residences an EC?
No. It is a private condominium on a mixed-use GLS site, not an executive condominium, so EC rules such as the household income ceiling and minimum occupation period do not apply. An online ad that called it a Hougang EC was wrong.
Who is the developer?
A joint venture of CapitaLand Development (50%), UOL Group (40%) and Kheng Leong (10%). CapitaLand Integrated Commercial Trust owns the mall.
Is it near an MRT station?
It is directly linked to Hougang MRT (NE14) on the North-East Line. Cross Island Line Phase 1, targeted for around 2030, will make Hougang an NEL–CRL interchange.
Which schools are nearby?
Montfort Junior School is next to the site. Holy Innocents’ Primary and CHIJ Our Lady of the Nativity are reported within about 1 km. Verify distances on OneMap once the address is confirmed.
When will LinkTown Residences be completed?
Completion is expected around 2030/2031. The exact TOP date has not been announced.
What will the maintenance fees be?
Not announced. Fees are set by share value, so larger units pay more, and are usually confirmed closer to completion. We will update this once figures are published.
Is there a mall and bus interchange?
Yes. The development integrates a new Hougang bus interchange and a mall of about 300,000 sq ft of lettable area, set to be the largest in Hougang.
