LinkTown Residences Balance Units Chart
What a balance units chart is, how to read one, and when the LinkTown Residences chart will be published here: after booking day.
Every new launch has a balance units chart once sales begin, and LinkTown Residences (Hougang Central Residences) will be no different. Nothing has been sold yet, so there is no chart to show today. This page explains what the chart is, how to read it and when it will appear here, so you are ready when it does.
What a balance units chart is
A balance units chart shows which units in a development are still unsold. Developers usually lay it out like an elevation chart: each block is drawn as a grid, with stacks across the top and floors down the side. Sold units are shaded or crossed out, and available units are left open, often with their price.
It is different from the price list. The price list is a table of units and prices at a point in time. The balance chart is a picture of what remains, which makes it much easier to see patterns: which stacks sold out first, which floors are left, and which unit types still have choice.
How to read one
- Start with the unit type. Most charts are colour coded by type. Filter mentally for the type you want, for example the 3 bedroom, and ignore the rest.
- Look at the stacks. A stack is a vertical column of units with the same layout and facing. If one stack is nearly sold out and its neighbour is not, ask why: facing, view, noise or layout. Our guide to choosing a unit stack goes through these trade-offs.
- Check the floors. Higher floors are usually priced higher. Gaps on lower floors can simply mean buyers prefer height, not that something is wrong.
- Compare prices across the same stack. The price gap from floor to floor tells you how much the developer is charging for height.
- Note the date. A balance chart is only accurate on the day it is issued. Always ask for the latest version.
Tip: read the balance chart with the site plan open. On a site with a mall, bus interchange and town plaza, what a stack faces can explain a lot about how it sold.
When it will be published here
A balance chart only exists after units are booked. For LinkTown Residences, that means after the first booking day.
To be announced: the balance units chart for Hougang Central Residences. It will be published on this page after booking day and refreshed after later sales releases. The launch is expected early 2027, and UOL’s August 2026 results guide a 2H 2027 launch. Booking day, prices and the unit mix have not been announced. Until then, you can read the indicative floor plans and follow the launch date page.
Balance units are a long-tail search
Interest in balance units comes well after the launch buzz. For The Hill @ One-North, search interest in the project name peaked in April 2024, around its launch. Searches for its balance units only started to register in June 2025, more than a year later, and have continued at a low level since. Buyers who missed the launch, or who waited to see how it sold, come back later to see what is left.
That pattern is worth keeping in mind for a development of about 830 homes. If you are not ready to commit at launch, the balance chart is how you will judge what is still available and at what price later on. How that compares with buying a completed home is covered in our new launch vs resale condo guide.
Nothing on this page predicts how quickly LinkTown Residences will sell. Past results of other projects are not an indication of future sales.
Related charts
The balance chart builds on two other launch documents. The elevation chart shows every block, stack and floor before sales start. The price list gives the price of each unit. Together they tell you what exists, what it costs and what is still available.

Frequently asked questions
Where can I see the LinkTown Residences balance units?
No units have been sold yet, so there is no balance chart. After booking day, this page will be updated with what is still available by unit type.
What does “balance units” mean?
Balance units are the units in a new launch that are still unsold. A balance units chart shows them by block, stack and floor, often with prices.
Are balance units cheaper after launch?
Not necessarily. Developers often raise prices in stages as units sell, but they can also adjust prices on slower stacks. Compare the current price list rather than assuming either way.
